We were thrilled to work with Dubarry of Ireland again this year for their entry into Chelsea in Bloom.
The world class alternative floral art show which is produced by the Cadogan Estate in association with the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), transformed the streets of Chelsea from the 23rd to 28th May with breathtaking floral displays. The annual competition has grown dramatically each year with Chelsea’s best retailers adorning their shop fronts with creative designs to compete for the coveted awards.
This year’s Chelsea in Bloom theme is Carnival, inspired by the Rio Olympics.
In true Dubarry style we incorporated the essence of the British country carnival with the colours and vibrancy of the Rio Carnival.
Our Dubarry ‘carnival boot’, was specially designed and made for Chelsea in Bloom and takes centre stage onboard our carnival float made out of an old market barrow. The Dubarry carnival float is filled with beautiful Festuca Glauca grasses with a large floral fan centrepiece (with tropical foliage, blue delphinium, pink peony, pink veronica and orange asclepia) inspired by the great British countryside with which Dubarrry is synonymous, and this year’s tropical carnival theme.
And don’t forget to meet our carnival queen mannequin with her bright floral skirt and headpiece with pheasant and peacock feather – the brightest Dubarry girl in Chelsea!
